My day started off pretty early dragging three kids out of bed, along with four bags of luggage and hauling it to my faithful suburban for another road trip. Of course the Royal Wedding was a huge distraction. I had to dvr the wedding of the century. I knew I needed to be in the car at 8:30 but I at least got to see the “kiss” everyone was waiting on. I can’t imagine how Kate must have felt walking out on that balcony to the multitudes.
I can’t wait to get all to take it all in! Hopefully I will get a chance tonight when all the kids are snoozing.
So, Im here now in Tennessee hanging out with the Matchack’s. They have the most breathtaking view from their home on top of a mountain. Hopefully this will help to clear my head! Can I just say, without determination this would not be possible. My boys about drove me out of the car and all I wanted to do was prepare my mind for the songwriting session I was driving to.
Already being unnerved by the Wilkerson accident, and hearing three different request for breakfast drive-thru’s, can I just say I was a little tense in the Atlanta traffic. It also happened to be extra crowded out this morning. I had a minute to think to myself and it was something like this….”God, are you trying to see how much I can stand? Trent is gone and I am holding all this down!”
But we are here, safe and sound. We have been writing now for several hours and I,m a tad brain fried. Im on a little break right now for chocolate, caffeine and blogging.
Just wanted to say hi, and if you could see me I would wave royally:)
