Evidently not everyone knows we have once again changed our address! I have gotten some funny emails and texts asking if we were on a long vacay or what! So if you haven’t heard, we are now residing in Atlanta GA with a new outlook on life. I’m excited to be at a place where I will actually feel the autumn weather and see Stone Mountain (where Trent and I frequently spent our dating days!).
So along with all the other upheaval around here, I feel the need to change up my blog and make it more “rounded” regarding life.
More and more I’m aware that I have evolved so much in my thirties in so many areas of my life and I want to share my thoughts and experiences. Looking back, I realize that it has been the inspiration of others that has brought me to where I am. I have been through many seasons of life—as I know you have—but recently I’ve experienced some life issues that have rocked my boat way more than I like! I never knew what stress was until I ended up in the ER with symptoms of heart problems!
SOoooo, here I am now in life’s recovery room, taking a few deep breaths and looking into a real world that has real problems—but also has a lot of really interesting things! I’ve come to see that we can live a lifestyle of worship by worshiping God in ALL things He has created, and not just in our created “worship sets”.
I like to think I have a lot of fashion sense, but would you believe that lately I’ve also been devouring the science of Neurology? (Yea…I didn’t think you would.) So in my new blog we’ll be looking at everything I’m interested in: from fashion to science, to health and well-being (and hormones and mammograms— haha), to exercise and religion and philosophy. And of course you know there will be plenty to say about my adorable family and our lives and ministry and our bout with homeschooling (argh!)
I hope you will stop by soon because there’s no way I’ll be able to get all this on Facebook!
